Lucky La Riccia

Lucky La Riccia has been a pivotal figure in the Cloud Software and Services division at Ericsson since January 25th, 2023, where he initially spearheaded operations in the Middle East and Africa. As of May 1st, 2025, he expanded his leadership role by being appointed Vice President and Head of Cloud Software and Services for Ericsson across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. In his current role, La Riccia is responsible for driving business growth and seizing market opportunities, with a particular focus on digital transformation and cloud domains.

La Riccia's journey with Ericsson began in 2004, during which he has held numerous leadership positions within the Digital Services portfolio across Asia Pacific and India. His expertise spans a wide range of technology areas, including Operations Support Systems (OSS), Business Support Systems (BSS), and Core Network domains. He has a proven track record in delivering complex technology and business transformation programs, as well as in virtualizing telecom operator solutions across continents.

His leadership acumen has been honed through various global assignments, enabling him to effectively guide technology teams and introduce cutting-edge technological advancements into customer environments. Prior to his tenure at Ericsson, La Riccia gained a decade of experience in Banking and Finance, specializing in Software Development, Systems Integration, and Architecture. His work in this sector focused on software solutions for Insurance, Banking, Funds Management, and Product Catalogue functions.

Born in 1975, Lucky La Riccia currently resides in Dubai, UAE. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in International Business from Deakin University in Melbourne.
