Magnus Mandersson joined Ericsson in 2004 to run Ericsson's Managed Services business globally and is now head of Ericsson’s overall services offering around the world.
During his tenure at Ericsson, he has led Ericsson's business in Northern Europe as well as the global account for Deutsche Telekom AG, and held the position as Senior Vice President for Business Unit CDMA Mobile Systems.
Prior to joining Ericsson, Mandersson held C-level positions within the Swedish conglomerate Kinnevik, the parent company of Millicom SA and TELE2 AB. As CEO of TELE2 Europe, he took the company from start-up project to a pan-European business, with 20 million subscribers in 26 countries.
Previously, as COO for Millicom, he was responsible for implementation of global marketing and sales programs, common branding, technology and common procurement for various operations. He also pioneered taking the pre-paid business model to previously underserved emerging markets.
Mandersson also served as the first President of Comviq Vietnam/Mobifone, when the Vietnamese market privatized in 1994. Earlier in his career, he held various general management positions in Europe and Asia with IKEA.
Mandersson serves as a board member of Intergoro Foundation and Lund University and is the chairman of the board of Doro AB.
Magnus Mandersson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Lund.
